Reading Roadrunners - 22/12/19

The Reading Roadrunners are looking forward to welcoming you to Ashenbury Park, Tippings Lane, Woodley. As ever the race starts at 11am.

Car parking is limited and is only available at Waingels College, Waingels Road RG5 4RF. Please make every effort to car share. There is a short walk (5 min) to the race HQ, toilets and the start.

Please do not attempt to reach the venue via the Ford at Charvil - this is not a shortcut even if Sat Nav says so.

The two lap course is c.8k mainly on open grassy ground plus a trail through the woods. No huge hills, rivers or bogs but it will be strength sapping in wet conditions. Parts of the course can get very wet in winter so a change of socks and shoes is highly advisable.

The course has been changed from previous years. It is now two laps rather than nearly three and the start is an uphill and downhill U shaped loop. There are also opportunities for runners to see and support their friends and teammates as they pass each other in the various short two way sections.

The course is suitable for spikes.

We will be using finishing tokens for this race, please return these to your club rep.

Please remember to bring your own mug and plate/tub, as these will not be supplied.
